It's in the teenage years we begin to uncover our individuality and identity. Navigating our teenage years through such discoveries can bring joy and excitement. Yet, it can also bring anxiety, depression, insecurities and other emotions or dilemmas. I often find myself working with teens who struggle with anxiety, self esteem and identity concerns. It's in our teen years, there may be so much emphasis placed on academic, athletic, or other performance expectations. Sometimes, such expectations can create tension. I really have a passion for teens, and provide a safe space to process and be real. I believe having such a space is important to discover your unique self. If you, a friend, or a child is struggling in this stage of life, I just want you to know you’re not alone in the journey. I like to incorporate talk therapy, art, sand, and other creative outlets to help teens find their own voice and express it in a way that is authentic to them.

The one thing that you have that no one else has is you. Your voice, your mind, your story, your vision. So write and draw and build and play and dance. And live as only you can.
