Groups &
Workshops

At Selah Counseling, we believe healing can happen in a variety of ways. In addition to traditional therapy, Selah offers personalized workshops designed to provide practical education, therapeutic insight, and dedicated space to explore a specific area of growth.

These workshops are available as one-on-one experiences, or in a small group setting, allowing each session to be thoughtfully tailored to your unique story, questions, and goals. As Selah Counseling continues to grow, we also look forward to offering select workshops in small-group settings, creating opportunities to learn, connect, and grow alongside others navigating similar experiences.

Thoughtfully designed experiences for learning, healing, and growth.

Groups FAQs

Groups and workshops are offered throughout the year around topics such as anxiety, body image, motherhood, identity, and self-worth. Some offerings are designed for adults, while others may be created specifically for teens.

Therapy groups typically meet over multiple sessions and offer an opportunity for deeper reflection, connection, and therapeutic work alongside others navigating similar experiences.

Workshops are focused and educational experiences offered as a short series or over a set number of weeks. They often include teaching, guided reflection, practical tools, and opportunities for discussion and connection.

No. Groups and workshops are open to all individuals, including those who are not currently participating in individual therapy at Selah Counseling. Each offering will include information about who it is designed for and any participation requirements.

Each experience is unique, but you can expect a thoughtful, welcoming environment. Groups and workshops incorporate evidence based modalities and may include education, guided discussion, reflection exercises, practical tools, and opportunities to connect what you're learning to your own life.

You will never be expected to share more than feels comfortable.

Some offerings may be structured as therapeutic groups, while others are educational or experiential workshops and are not a substitute for individual mental health treatment. Each offering will clearly explain what type of experience it is and whether it is considered a clinical service.

Insurance is not accepted through Selah Counseling for groups or workshops.

Upcoming offerings will be shared here as they become available. If you’re interested in a particular topic or wondering whether a group or workshop may be a good fit for you, you’re welcome to reach out with questions or to express interest in future offerings.
